Ruth was born on June 24th, 1912.  Ruth's father was Henry Haselhuhn and her mother was Ida Theresa Rusch.  Her paternal grandparents were George Frederick Haselhuhn and Mary Florip. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Herbert, Unknown, Henry Emiel, Edna Amelia and Unknown.  She was the second youngest of the six children. She had a half-brother named Eldred.  She died at the age of 14 on August 19th, 1926.
