Paul was born on January 20th, 1904 in Presque Isle County, Michigan.  Paul's father was Martin Haselhuhn and his mother was Clara Reisener.  His paternal grandparents were George Frederick Haselhuhn and Mary Florip; his maternal grandparents were Friedrick Johan Reisner and Sophia Therese Johanna Schaffer. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Leonard, Rudolph, Adolph, Louis, Charles, Karl, Dora, Theresa, Heildegard, Evelin Malvina, Sophia and Relinda Rose.  He was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 3 on April 21st, 1907.
