Benjamin was born on April 18th, 1654 in Reading, Massachusetts.1   Benjamin's father was Thomas Hartshorn and his mother was Susannah Buck. He had five brothers and a sister, named Thomas, John, Joseph, Jonathan, David and Susannah.1
