John Griffin

John was born about 1713.¹ John's father was Thomas Griffin and his mother was Elizabeth Welton. His paternal grandparents were John Griffin and Anna Bancroft; his maternal grandparents were John Welton and Mary Upson. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Nathaniel, Stephen, Benoni, Mary, Eunice and Hannah.¹
