John Griffin 
John was born about 1657 in Windsor, Connecticut.1 John's father was John Griffin and his mother was Anna Bancroft. His paternal grandparents were John Griffin and Ann Langford; his maternal grandparents were John Bancroft and Jane. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, Ephraim, Nathaniel, Hannah, Sarah, Abigail, Ruth, Mary and Mindwell.1 General Notes
