John W. Gordon 
John W. was born about 1855.1 John W.'s father was John Gordon and his mother was Polly Ann Moseley. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Gordon and Liza Unknown; his maternal grandparents were Cleman T. Moseley and Nicey A. Sullivant. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Clement, Alexander, Crawford T., Augustus, Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Laura Ann and Missouri. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.1 -
