David was born on December 8th, 1694 in Wethersfield, Hartford Co., CT.1   David's father was David Goodrich and his mother was Hannah Hubbard Wright.  His paternal grandparents were William Goodrich and Sarah Marvin; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Wright and Elizabeth Chittenden. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Josiah, Elizur, Elizabeth, Abigail and Hannah.  He was the third youngest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Hezekiah, Zebulon and Prudence.  He died at the age of 90 on July 14th, 1785 in Rocky Hill, Hartford Co., CT.  He was buried in 1785 in Rocky Hill, CT age 91.1 1
