Marguerite's father was Jean Gobeil\Gobeille and her mother was Jeanne Guiet\Guyet.  Her paternal grandparents were Pierre Gobeil and Catherine Chaigneau; her maternal grandparents were Pierre Guyet and Gabrielle Roquier. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Laurent, Barthelemi, Francoise, Jeanne Angelique, Catherine, Jeanne and Marie Francoise.  She was buried in St. Etienne de Beaumont, Province of Quebec, Canada.
