William Gifford 
William was born in Falmouth, Massachusetts.1 William's father was William Gifford and his mother was Hannah. His paternal grandparents were William Gifford and Mary Danforth. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Gideon, Gershom, Justice, Seth, Jabez, Experience, Mehitable, Mary, Hannah and Temperance. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Silas, Melatiah, Joseph, Nathan, Amy and Sarah. He died on December 5th, 1789.2 -
