Silas Gifford 
Silas was born on June 30th, 1715 in Falmouth, MA.1 Silas' father was William Gifford and his mother was Lydia Hatch. His paternal grandparents were William Gifford and Mary Danforth. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Melatiah, Joseph, Nathan, Amy and Sarah. He had six half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Gideon, Gershom, Justice, William, Seth, Jabez, Experience, Mehitable, Mary, Hannah and Temperance. He died at the age of 46 in 1761 in Falmouth, MA.1 -
