John was born about 1552 in Pitminster, Somerset, England.1 John's father was Nicholas Gaillard and his mother was Joan Unknown. His paternal grandfather was Nicholas Gaillard. He had four brothers named Christopher, Edmond, William and Hugh. He died on May 31st, 1607 in PITMINSTER, S, England.2 General Notes
