Margaret was born on July 26th, 1811 in Norton, Kings, New Brunswick, Canada.1 Margaret's father was George Fritch and her mother was Mary Unknown. Her paternal grandparents were John Fritch and Catherine Unknown. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named John, Daniel, George M., James, Robert, Charles Wesley, William Henry, Sarah, Mary and Catherine.
