Lewis Freeman 
Lewis was born in 1818 in Brutus,Cayuga,NY.1 Lewis' father was Silas Freeman and his mother was Sarah (Sally) French. His paternal grandparents were Elijah Freeman and Olive Honey; his maternal grandparents were Ebenezer French and Sarah Bassett. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named Hesekiah, Kesekiah, Darius, Walter, Leonard, John, Ethan S., Olive, Mary, Harriett, Hannah, Caroline Sophia and Sarah Maria (Sally). He was the third youngest of the fourteen children.1 -
