Leota Fierce

Leota was born about 1870.¹ Leota's father was Henry Fierce and her mother was Sarah Jane Pickett. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Butcher Fierce and Mary MacCartney. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Nathan, Roy, Charles Henry, Ceriton, Olive, Osee, Thomas and Frank. She was the second oldest of the nine children.¹
