Laura Anise Fierce

Laura Anise was born about 1865 in Decatur Co., Iowa.¹ Laura Anise's father was Ebenezer W. Fierce and her mother was Mary Criswell. Her paternal grandparents were Conrad Fierce and Elizabeth Wilson; her maternal grandparents were Robert Criswell and Elizabeth Byrd. She had four brothers and four sisters, named William Err, Fernando Wilson, Robert Clark, Alexander B., Elizabeth, Florence Estella, Margaret J. and Mary E.. She was the youngest of the nine children.¹
