Charity Faires 
Charity was born on February 9th, 1836.1 Charity's father was Thomas T. Faires and her mother was Mary B Gifford. Her paternal grandparents were John Faires and Jane Hagerman; her maternal grandparents were Abraham Gifford and Patience Besse. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Joel, Perley, Manley, Lydia, Patience J., Ruth, Olive Ann and Esther. She was the second oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 79 on January 23rd, 1916 in Union Township, Morgan County, Ohio.1 -
