William Evans 
William was born about 1854 in Screven Co., GA.1 William's father was John C. Evans and his mother was Mary Ann Waters. His paternal grandparents were Thomas W. Evans and Elizabeth Hendricks. He had two sisters named Lenora and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the three children.1
