Virgil Melvin English 
Virgil Melvin was born on February 4th, 1909 in Persimmon Dist., Rabun Co., GA.1 Virgil Melvin's father was Henry Wesley English and his mother was Fannie M. Nichols. His paternal grandparents were William Jasper English and Amy Drucilla Burrell; his maternal grandfather was William S. Nichols. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Marvin, Melvin, Dessie Mae and Lessie. He died at the age of 78 on April 25th, 1987 in Rabun Co., GA.1
