James S. Eighmy 
James S. was born in 1859 in Batavia Township, Kane County, Illinois. James S.'s father was James John Eighmy and his mother was Lucinda Martin. His paternal grandparents were John Eighmy and Elizabeth Hoyt; his maternal grandparents were Sedate Paddle Martin and Almira Nash. He had two brothers and a sister, named Luman Clarence, Elmer and Delia Augusta. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 74 on March 7th, 1933 in Norton County, Kansas. He was buried in Oronoque Cemetery.-
