Jacob Doty 
Jacob was born in 1703 in Plymouth Co., Plymouth, Massachusetts.1 Jacob's father was John Doty and his mother was Mehitable Nelson. His paternal grandparents were John Doty and Elizabeth Cook; his maternal grandparents were John Nelson and Sarah Wood. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Edward, John, Mehitable, Sarah, Susannah and Lydia. He died before June 26th, 1747.1 General Notes

On 26 June 1747 Deborah Doten and Joseph Rickard were appointed administrators of the estate of Jacob Doty. The 27 April 1752 account mentions payment to Deborah Doten. The February 1753 division mentions dower for Deborah Doten; eldest son Solomon Doten; daughter Hannah Fuller, wife of Seth Fuller, Jr., daughter Jemima Doten; son Zephaniah Doten; daughter Sarah Doten; son Jacob Doten.
In 1752 Joseph Rickard of Middleboro was appointed guardian of Sarah and Zephaniah, and William Lucas was appointed guardian of Jemima and Jacob Doten. On 22 February 1753, Seth Fuller and wife Deborah gave a note to Solomon Doten, executor of Jacob Doten's estate, for her third of the estate of Jacob Doten. The note was acknowledged by Deborah 26 January 1758.
