William W. Dewey 
William W. was born on January 17th, 1805 in Feeding Hills, Hampden Co. MA.1 William W.'s father was Allen Dewey and his mother was Fanny Loomis. His paternal grandparents were Josiah Dewey and Huldah Frost; his maternal grandparents were Pliny Loomis and Loviso Stephenson. He had four brothers and three sisters, named George, Albert, Lyman, Walter S., Mary, Dolly Ann and Lovisa. He was the second oldest of the eight children.1 -
