Henry Sweetser was born on November 9th, 1856 in Hanover, Graft., NH.1 Henry Sweetser's father was Israel Otis Dewey and his mother was Susan Augusta Sweetser. His paternal grandparents were Israel Dewey and Nancy Hovey; his maternal grandparents were Henry Sweetser and Susan West. He had a brother and two sisters, named Frank Otis, Jennie and Annie Hovey. He was the second oldest of the four children.1 -
