Annie Hovey was born on December 16th, 1863 in Hanover, Graft., NH.1 Annie Hovey's father was Israel Otis Dewey and her mother was Susan Augusta Sweetser. Her paternal grandparents were Israel Dewey and Nancy Hovey; her maternal grandparents were Henry Sweetser and Susan West. She had two brothers and a sister, named Henry Sweetser, Frank Otis and Jennie. She was the youngest of the four children.1 -
