Thomas Denton 
Thomas was born in 1798 in Jefferson, Tennessee.1 Thomas' father was Joseph Denton and his mother was Charity Bailey. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Denton and Mary Unknown. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Andrew, Elizabeth and Jane. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 87 in 1885 in Leon, Butler, Kansas.1 -
