Joseph Denton 
Joseph was born in 1771 in Hardy Co., North Carolina.1 Joseph's father was Jacob Denton and his mother was Mary Unknown. His paternal grandparents were Robert Denton and Jane Moore. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Robert, Jacob, Catherine, Jane, Mary and Margaret. He was the second youngest of the seven children.1 -
