Joseph Andrew was born on April 18th, 1850 in Linton, Greene, Indiana.1 Joseph Andrew's father was George Bailey Denton and his mother was Margaret Rector. His maternal grandparents were Joseph Rector and Mary McBride. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John Waggoner, Thomas Alexandrew, Charles Wesley, Charity Elizabeth, Margaret Arrena, Alice Caroline, Chrisiana Flora and Statira Capitola. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He had a half-sister named Mary Janet.1 -
