Newton DeWitt

Newton was born on August 21st, 1850 in Indiana. Newton's father was Calvin DeWitt and his mother was Nancy Shaw. His paternal grandparents were Williard DeWitt and Elizaberth Mosher; his maternal grandparents were Robert Shaw and Alice Jane Hopkinson. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Willard Spencer, John W., Charlotte, Rhonda Ann, Almira, Emily, Arvilla, Rachel Jane and Sarah Ann. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 64 in 1914.
