Mahala Day 
Mahala was born on May 30th, 1797.1 Mahala's father was Moses Day and her mother was Polly Carew. Her paternal grandparents were Gideon Day and Elizabeth Duncan. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Moses, Francis, Lyman, Lester, Betsey, Polly and Polly. She was the second oldest of the eight children.1 -
