1   Emily's father was Benjamin Dasher and her mother was Elizabeth Schweighoffer.  Her paternal grandparents were Martin Dasher and Lucy Ursula; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Schweighoffer and Hannah Florl. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Martin, Samuel, Thomas, Benjamin, Gideon, Jesse, Hannah, Lydia, Elizabeth and Susannah.1
