Richard Chamberlain 
Richard was born on July 12th, 1823 in Welton, Northamptonshire, England.1 Richard's father was Thomas Chamberlain and his mother was Sarah Checkley. His paternal grandparents were John Chamberlain and Ann Eales; his maternal grandparents were George Checkley and Dorcas Tomlin. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Thomas, George Checkley, Rebecca and Sarah Ann. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 74 on July 4th, 1898 in Logan Co., IL.1 -
