Sadie Elizabeth was born on December 29th, 1889 in Fort Scott, Bourbon, KS.1 Sadie Elizabeth's father was John Thomas Cauthon and her mother was Melissa Palestine Todd. Her paternal grandparents were James Cauthon and Elizabeth Ann Barris; her maternal grandparents were James P. Todd and Mary Jane Dunaway. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Albert, J.F., J.W., Unknown and Delia M.. She died due to Cancer of Uterus at the age of 61 on May 20th, 1951 in Adrian, Bates, MO. She was buried on May 22nd, 1951 in Austin, MO.1 1 General Notes

SADIE ELIZABETH (BRIDGES) WOLF OBITUARY
Mrs. Elizabeth (Bridges) Wolf passed away at the home of her son, Orvel Bridges, in Adrian May 20, 1951 at the age of 61 years, 4 months and 21 days.
The daughter of Tina Todd and and John Thomas Cauthorn, she was born at Fort Scott, Kas. on December 29, 1889. When a child she moved with her parents to St. Clair county, Mo. and in May 1906 she married Robert Alvin Bridges, who preceded her in death in 1935.
The couple had four children.
In NOvember 1937 she was married to Henry Wolf of Sheldon, Mo. who also preceeded her in death in February, 1941.
Mrs. Wolf was a member of the Adrian Baptist church from which the services were conducted on Tuesday, May 22, at 2 p.m. by Rev. Eugene Edwards. Interment was in the Austin cemetery.
Mrs. Wolf is survived by her four children. Alvin Bridges and Orvel Bridges, both of Adrian. Howard Bridges of Butler, and Mrs. Elsi Balsiger of Ballard; 3 stepchildren, Raymond Wolf of Ballard, Mrs. Preston Hutchins of Harrisonville, and Harry Bridges of Kansas City, twelve grand children, one great grandhld, and several step grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters Mrs. Walter Greer and Mrs. Chas. Kindrick, both of Adrian; three brothers, Bert Cauthorn of Adrian John of Garden City, and Jim of California; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, one brother, and one stepson.
