Catherine 
Catherine was born in 1841 in New York.1 Catherine's father was Gregory Herberger and her mother was Susan Acker. Her maternal grandparents were Rudolph Acker and Margaret Sheffler. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named John, David, Joseph, Gregory, Peter, Henry, Jake, Christiama, Margaret, Mary, Susan and Matilda.1
