William Thomas Carroll

William Thomas was born on August 31st, 1866 in Talbot County, Georgia.  William Thomas' father was John Wesley Carroll and his mother was Susan Caroline Bowden.  His maternal grandparents were John C. Bowden and Mary A. Unknown. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named John Bowden, Julius Centennial, Eddie Olen, Cornelia Emory, Louiza Jane, Julia Francis, Mary Date, Susan Leamon, Nancy Catherine, Ida Victoria and Genie Etta.  He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children.
