Cornelia Emory Carroll

Cornelia Emory was born on September 3rd, 1858 in Meriwether County, Georgia.  Cornelia Emory's father was John Wesley Carroll and her mother was Susan Caroline Bowden.  Her maternal grandparents were John C. Bowden and Mary A. Unknown. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named William Thomas, John Bowden, Julius Centennial, Eddie Olen, Louiza Jane, Julia Francis, Mary Date, Susan Leamon, Nancy Catherine, Ida Victoria and Genie Etta.  She was the oldest of the twelve children.
