Samuel Butler 
Samuel was born in 1639 in Hartford, Hartford Co., CT.1 Samuel's father was Richard Butler and his mother was Elizabeth Bigelow. His paternal grandfather was Steven Butler. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Nathaniel, Joseph, Daniel, Mary, Elizabeth, Hannah, Abigail and Abigal. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 53 on December 31st, 1692 in Wethersfield, Hartford Co, CT.1 General Notes
