William Burras 
William was born about 1847 in Ripley Twp, Huron, Ohio.1 William's father was Valentine Burras and his mother was Sarah W. Green. His paternal grandparents were William Burras and Abigail Jeffries; his maternal grandparents were Zalmon W. Green and Eliza Patten. He had a brother and a sister, named Zalmon W. and Sarah. He was the second oldest of the three children.1 -
