John Burras 
John was born about 1815 in New York.1 John's father was William Burras and his mother was Abigail Jeffries. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William Hadrick, Samuel J., Reuben Miles, Valentine, Nancy, Phoebe, Abigail and Rebecca Jane. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died on April 15th, 1901 in Olena, Huron, Ohio.1 General Notes
