Jonathon was born in 1706.1   Jonathon's father was Abraham Bryant and his mother was Sarah Bancroft.  His paternal grandfather was Abraham Bryant. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Abrahan, Samual, Ebenezer, Mary and Sarah.  He was the third youngest of the six children.1
