Nancy was born in 1825.1   Nancy's father was George Washington Brown and her mother was Rebecca Stevens.  Her maternal grandparents were Benjamin Stevens and Rachel Holloway. She had two brothers and four sisters, named George Washington, Wilson, Eliza, Mary A., Martha and Rebecca Jane.  She died at the age of 51 on January 26th, 1876.1
