Mary A. was born in 1817.1   Mary A.'s father was George Washington Brown and her mother was Rebecca Stevens.  Her maternal grandparents were Benjamin Stevens and Rachel Holloway. She had two brothers and four sisters, named George Washington, Wilson, Eliza, Martha, Rebecca Jane and Nancy.  She died at the age of 75 on December 26th, 1892.1
