Elizabeth Belle Brown

Elizabeth Belle was born on October 30th, 1886 in Orange Co., N. C..¹ Elizabeth Belle's father was George Washington Brown and her mother was Sarah Elizabeth Jobe. Her paternal grandparents were George Washington Brown and Rebecca Stevens; her maternal grandparents were James Emsley Job and Mary Catherine Isley. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Emmons Emsley, George Thomas Settle, Mary Rebecca and Sophina Pickens. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 74 on January 18th, 1961 in Orange Co., N. C..¹
