Robert John Brockie 
Robert John was born on April 22nd, 1877.1 Robert John's father was John Laidlaw Brockie and his mother was Hannah Steele. His maternal grandparents were John Steele and Mary Ann Elmhirst. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Joseph William, Arthur James, Fred C., Clarence Webber, Mary Emma, Isabelle Steele, Lillie Anna, Mable and Grace Hannah. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children.1 -
