Mary Emma Brockie

Mary Emma was born on February 7th, 1868.¹ Mary Emma's father was John Laidlaw Brockie and her mother was Hannah Steele. Her maternal grandparents were John Steele and Mary Ann Elmhirst. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Joseph William, Arthur James, Robert John, Fred C., Clarence Webber, Isabelle Steele, Lillie Anna, Mable and Grace Hannah. She was the third oldest of the ten children.¹
