Martha Brace

Martha was born on February 23rd, 1816 in Springfield Twp, Bradford, PA.¹   Martha's father was William Brace and her mother was Polly Furmon.  Her paternal grandparents were William Brace and Hannah Mills. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Alfred, Albert, William, Hollister, Dighton D, Stephen Allen, Nancy, Eliza and Angeline.  She was the second oldest of the ten children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Samuel and Esther Ann.  She died at the age of 96 on December 30th, 1912.¹
