Samuel Boyer 
Samuel was born on October 12th, 1837.1 Samuel's father was William Boyer and his mother was Lydia Metzgar. His paternal grandparents were William Boyer and Katharine. He had a brother named Jacob. He had two half-brothers and six half-sisters, named John, William W., Matilda, Mollie, Pamelia, Phoebe, Ami and Ella. He died at the age of 76 in September 1914 in Crainsville, Preston, West Virginia.1 General Notes
