John Malachi Bowden 
John Malachi was born on June 28th, 1840 in Meriwether Co., GA.1 John Malachi's father was John C. Bowden and his mother was Mary A. Unknown. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Josiah, Rollis P., Enoch R., William W., James F., Susan Caroline, Nancy F. and Martha Ann. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 79 on January 29th, 1920 in Hampton Co., SC.1 General Notes
