Benjamin was born in April 1647.1   Benjamin's father was Jonathan Bosworth and his mother was Elizabeth.  His paternal grandfather was Edward Bosworth. He had five brothers and eight sisters, named Edward, Jeremiah, Jonathan, Joseph, Nathaniel, Bethiah, Rebeccah, Belany, Bridget, Deliverance, Hannah, Mary and Mehitable.1
