Esther Maria was born on October 18th, 1825.1   Esther Maria's father was Jacob N. Booker and her mother was Sally Broaders.  Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Booker and Mary Anne Witzell; her maternal grandparents were James Broaders and Sarah Caines. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Ferdinand Caldwell, Franklin Broaders, Samuel Alexander, Jacob John, Lauretta Elizabeth, Sarah Ann, Theresa Amelia and Mary Ann.  She was the youngest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 39 on March 25th, 1865.1
