Joseph Blackman

Joseph was born on November 26th, 1724.¹ Joseph's father was Elisha Blackman and his mother was Susanna Higley. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Blackman and Elizabeth Church; his maternal grandparents were John Higley and Sarah Strong. He had two brothers and a sister, named Alisha, Jonathan and Susannah. He was the oldest of the four children.¹
