Sarah was born about 1853.1   Sarah's father was William Blackburn and her mother was Mary Jane Waters.  Her paternal grandparents were John Blackburn and Esther. She had seven brothers and a sister, named William J., James Marion, David Henry, John, Charles, Joseph, Robert and Levicy.1
